Reported drunk driver located and arrested

A 46 year-old Cedar woman was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated with a High BAC >.17% Wednesday.  A call was received at 7:03 pm indicating that a red mustang caused damage as it drove through the grass area at the Greilickville Park. The license plate number was was provided, showing it was registered out of Cedar.

Leelanau County Sheriff's deputies were on the lookout for the vehicle and located it on Bellinger Road near Sullivan Road in Solon Township at 8:36 pm.  The driver was intoxicated and failed field sobriety tasks.  She was arrested and charged with OWI with High BAC after a Datamaster breath test of .19%. 

She remains lodged pending bond being set.
