Wyandotte man arrested for felony OWI
A 30 year-old Wyandotte man was arrested Thursday night for Third Offense Operating While Intoxicated. He was stopped for erratic driving on Lake Leelanau Drive near Donner Road at 10:03 pm.He was arrested after showing signs of intoxication and failing field sobriety tasks. His Datamaster breath test was .092. He was released on $30,000 personal recognizance bond pending a District Court hearing next week.
Tribal police arrest unlicensed driver
Grand Traverse Band Tribal Police arrested a 56 year-old Northport man after stopping him for having an expired plate. Once contact was made, it was determined that the plate did not belong on the vehicle and the driver's license expired in 2009 and he could not produce proof of insurance.He was arrested on three misdemeanor charges and remains jailed pending a bond being set by the Magistrate.
