Night Before Halloween is Quiet

The Leelanau County Sheriff's Office experienced a quiet devils night.  The road patrol deputies handled 30 events, all which proved to be routine.  Such things as traffic stops, car deer accidents, alarms and a couple suspicious incidents that proved to be unfounded.

The Leelanau County Sheriff's Office asks everyone to be safe while going door to door trick or treating this evening and keep an eye out for people walking in the roadways or crossing the streets.  Adults should accompany young children and everyone should wear something reflective on their clothing or carry a flashlight to be seen.  Together we can make sure this is safe evening for everyone.
