Drunk driver failed to dim bright lights

Leelanau County Sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle for failing to dim its bright lights and not having visible tail lights on S West Bay Shore Drive near Murray Court Monday.  The stop occurred at 11:23 pm. 

Deputies made contact with the driver who had vomited in his car.  The 21 year-old Traverse City man appeared intoxicated and failed all field sobriety tasks.  He was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated and had a Datamaster breath test result of .12%.

The man was released on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and will appear in 86th District Court Friday.
