Beautiful weather, quiet County

There was nothing of note that occurred in the past 24 hours but that doesn't mean Leelanau County Sheriff's deputies weren't working.  There was the larceny of a 12 foot aluminum boat in Leelanau Township, a neighbor dispute in Elmwood Township and an intoxicated pedestrian who was having trouble navigating in Leland Township at 3:35 pm.

Deputies stopped 13 vehicles for traffic violations, policed one traffic crash with no injuries and 2 car/deer crashes.  3 false alarms and 2 animal complaints rounded out Thursday.  No new inmates were booked into the jail but that will not be the case Friday with District Court in session.
