D & D gets man 90 days

Anthony C. Palumbo, 57, was sentenced to 90 days in jail after pleading guilty to being a Disorderly Person/ Drunk in 86th District Court.  Palumbo, of Traverse City, was arrested by Leelanau County Sheriff's deputies on September 5 after it was reported that he was riding a bike in Empire Township and was swerving in and out of traffic.  The caller thought Palumbo appeared intoxicated.  Deputies determined that he had an alcohol level of .18 at 9:20 am.

Numerous calls had been received about Palumbo in the previous several weeks as being drunk in the roadway in the southern end of the County.  He was given credit for time served by the Court.
