Intoxicated Driver Arrested

A 22 year-old Suttons Bay man was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated and Possessing Open Intoxicants early Friday morning.  A Leelanau County deputy stopped the driver on S. West Bay Shore Drive near Peck Road in Suttons Bay Township at 12:12 am.  He showed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests. 

He was arrested and transported to the Leelanau County Jail and had a .14% result on the Datamaster breath test instrument.  The magistrate will post bond Friday morning.
