Two warrant arrests made

Leelanau County Sheriff's deputies and Michigan State Police arrested two men on unrelated bench warrants yesterday.  Deputies arrested Nathaniel J. Baker, 30, of Empire on a Grand Traverse County warrant.  He was transported to the Leelanau jail and picked up by Grand Traverse deputies later in the day.

Troopers arrested Michael G. Widmaier, 46, at his Northport home on a Friend of the Court bench warrant.  Widmaier was transported to the Leelanau jail and will serve 30 days if $250 bond is not posted.
