Solon Township homeowner gets forked Saturday night
A Gallivan Road resident called the Leelanau County Sheriff's Office Sunday morning to report that there were over a hundred plastic forks stuck in his lawn. Although the homeowner didn't know who was responsible for the action, it was recognized as "Forking".Forking is when someone has hundreds or thousands of plastic forks stuck in their lawn as a prank. It can be done as a sign of endearment or to torment the resident. It is a prank with seasonal limitations, however, as the same activity Monday night instead of Saturday night may not have even been noticed until spring!
No suspects were identified and the case is closed unless further information is received.
